Transitional Shelter for Men
Luke’s House has brought Warmth & Safety to many Single Men
Loaves and Fishes transitional sheltering program for men is called Luke’s House. Transitional sheltering means 24/7 longer term housing that offers the opportunity for residents to get the job training and experience, education and other long-term solutions needed to be able to secure and keep permanent housing.
Luke’s House is a fully furnished home that can house up to 3 men. Each man has his own private bedroom. Guests share a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and storage space. Luke’s house is an alcohol- and drug-free environment. Luke’s houseguests must be working or in school.
Guests at our transitional house pay a nominal monthly program fee that covers just a fraction of the services we offer to them. This helps teach the guests money management and accountability, as well as helps them with budgeting and feeling a part of their service plan, as they prepare to move into their own housing.
